While Angels Minister
And again, when God brings his first born into the
world, he says, "Let all God's angels worship Him.
Hebrews 1:16
Father, thank you for giving us your angels. I am grateful for
each one who comes from you. Thank you for their help and
protection at your command. I praise You, for these angels
are Your Heavenly messengers and servants. Thank you
for being their God, and for being my one and only God.
Angels are all around us in the form of gold pins on shoulders,
other kinds of jewelry and pictures, and in stores, books, poetry and movies.
The Bible tells us real angels are here with us. Some of us
have even experienced angels working personally in our
lives. The Bible also teaches us we are a little lower than
the angels, but God has appointed angels and us both to be
servants for Him. We must be careful that our praise does not
go to the angels, but only to God who made them. Remember
the scriptures tell us we are to put nothing or no one before
God. This includes angels.
God is the Master of all. Him only are we to worship and
serve. Let's be thankful for angels, but be ever so thankful
to God who made them.
I have to admit I love angels, they are all over my house,
as well as a lighted Jesus on the cross, Jesus walking on
water, other pictures of Jesus. I wear more than one
crosses on my neck chains. I make them, have them in
my yard. I believe in angels and love them.
I have read somewhere that angels are here, from God, to
help us do the Work of God. I love to read books and
stories about angels, angelic healing...I know I have more
than one guardian angel, has to be or I would not be
alive today. We each have an angel(s) to watch over us.
I considered my mother an angel, and she definitely is
one now. I know I will see her in Heaven, and she is
already in no pain, has no sorrow and is happy and
singing praises. I miss her so much, but she is
a much better place than I am.
ANSWERING MOTHER'S PRAY'R
While toiling in the field of time,
To keep my record fair
I feel this recompense sublime,
I'm answering Mother's pray'r.
When'er I cheer the lone and sad
Or lighten someone's cares,
It gives me this assurance glad,
I'm answering mother's pray'r.
When I console some way-worn heart,
When someone's load I share
What happiness it doth impart,
I'm answering mother's pray'r.
I hope to join the angel band
For mother dear is there,
That I may meet her on the strand
I'm answering mother's pray'r.
