This Day

  Being outside today is keeping me going
  As You talk to me... through the trees and
  I Think You are showing
  Me all there is to love and cherish
  While I'm living and until I perish
  This day is almost gone and past
  And now in store is a new breaking day at last

  You've sent blessings and I'll always treasure
  All little things that while here give me pleasure
  Let me be a shining light... and like a star to You
  I understand now why  You put me here on Your land
  So I  could help others and be a helping hand

  To spread Your Word to all we can
  And on Your promises forever stand
  To help others along the way
  So they to, can have a new day

  Praise You Lord for letting me live
  And know all the things You have to give
  Eternal life and walk on clouds anew
  Forever together and living with You
  If I don't keep walking...then run to You
  I will stumble for sure and not have a clue
  What to do...

  I crave and long for Your return
  For my Heavenly Home with You I truly yearn
  Until till then I'll live and learn
  And prayerfully not take a wrong turn
  For us Your precious Blood You gave
  For us to have a chance at eternal days
  You suffered Jesus and ask that all we do
  Is Accept, Believe, Be baptized in You
  And live only for You

  I know I could never walk in Your shoes
  So the best I can do is to pay my dues
  So little You've asked
  And it's not a task
  It's wonderful and heavenly for what I get
  I know I'm not totally there yet
  Will know when I see the Open Door
  Then will leave this earth for evermore
  May I ask Lord that You watch over my son
  And my loved ones
  Til they die in the flesh and join us
  And we can all live as One
  Please continue to bless my child I love him so much
  Give Him all needs with Your loving and forgiving touch
  Let me know when it's my time to leave
  I won't be sad.... because I truly believe
  That I'm going to a much better place
  And no longer have to struggle or hurt... through Your Grace

  Tell all I'm not really gone...
  But I'm safe with You
  With a new day and a new song.
