A GREAT FEELING
 
Have you ever been on a trip away from home 
You've had fun and all was fair  
When you are settling and returned, there is excitement in the air  
But you still feel  a  little down
 But when you get back to your safe abode 
You are most appreciative of what you have there and 
There are many memories to share 
Of the trip and of the pleasures you've known 
That is sort of the way I feel this morning 
Like I feel relieved a feel of some burdens lifted    
 
It's a great feeling and I know...God has touched me in my soul 
Yes, in a mighty way  
Let me sleep last night finally and into today
 The rest was so good for me 
I started this day with a different attitude 
One of feeling loads were  lifted from my soul 
And I can clearer  see 
 
There is not one thing that needs immediate attention 
Great feeling to not  feel pressed...as I mention  
This God, is a result of me getting rest 
And the things You have handled on my behalf
 There are physical pains as there always is 
But I'm learning to live with most of these 

It's like obstacles are clearing from my sight 
And the Son is shining bright
 I don't expect a storm to attack today 
Thanks for the love and for allowing me ease 
I hope it's a new  beginning of a new day and way  
Where trials will be less known 
And as the storms leave...I'll keep it...if you please 
To realize that turmoils are a part of life  
And that God the Father is my Lord
 He comes with Armor and a mighty Sword
